First Aid Courses.

What would you do if you or someone with you were involved in an accident? Would you be able to cope? Basic first aid training is essential for everyone.

Sue Crosbie FIRST AID TRAINING, operating under licence with Qualsafe Awards who are a recognised HSE approved company established to satisfy and fulfil all your company’s legal First Aid training requirements to deliver certificated training courses in Workplace First Aid.

We only use the best instructors all of whom have a wealth of experience in their subject knowledge and come from an operational first aid background including Paramedics, Fire Fighters and Nurses.

Area

Requirements

Room size

Each student should have a minimum of 1.25 sq metres, e.g. a minimum room size of 4 x 4 metres for 12 students

Toilets

Separate, clean facilities for male and female students

Ventilation

Should be adequate

Lighting

Suitable for reading

Heating

The room temperature should maintain a “shirt sleeve” environment

Access/exits

Should be safe, well lit and cater for people with special needs

Floor coverings

Should be clean and carpeted or mats/blankets provided for use during practical sessions

Cleanliness

Should maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic environment

Noise

The training environment should be sufficiently quiet to allow students to hear the trainer clearly and not be distracted from the learning activities (such as frequent tannoy announcements.
