Awarding Body (BIIAB) Who is the qualification for:- The Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing is a nationally recognised qualification designed for anyone authoring the retail sale of alcohol in licensed premises. It provides essential knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities of alcohol retailers authorised by a personal licencse holder to sell alcohol. It will enable those who complete the qualification to act within the law to support the designated premises supervisor to retail alcohol responsibly on their licensed premises. What you will achieve:- The BIIAB ARAR Level 1 has been designed in less than a day and includes a short multiple-choice examination. A comprehensive handbook, presented in an easy-to-follow format, supports the qualification and covers all the information required to complete the examination. The examination consists of 25 multiple-choice questions, three of which are compulsory. To pass the examination candidates must answer correctly the three compulsory questions in section one, and 14 out of the 22 questions in section two. When you pass the course you will obtain a nationally recognised qualification, which is accredited by the British Institute of Innkeeping Awarding Body (BIIAB).
